Greetings!
As we celebrate Lent/Passover/Easter/Resurrection, we are reminded that Sin separates us from God, but through the death, resurrection, ascension and return of Christ, each of us has a chance to inherit eternal life.
The greatest thing to understand is that we do not have to wait until we die to gain abundant life, but can experience it right here on earth. Jesus stated in John 10:10 "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." Abundant life does not only include materialistic things, but also the abundance of God’s Grace and Mercy.

As we reflect on the Cross of Christ, may we turn our focus to the sacrifice He made that each of us may be reconciled to God. During Lent, people sacrifice a number of things, only in hopes to return to it on Resurrection Sunday. But on the contrary, whatever you decide to sacrifice, do it with the understanding of the knowledge that Jesus sacrificed His life as a Sin offering, but returned as the Redeemed Son of God. In like manner, whatever you decide to let go during Lent, do your best to rise as a new creature in Christ.
Let us try and make a commitment to be new creatures in Christ when this Lenten season is over.
2nd Corinthians 5:17- Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
